Our crèche service does not require a provider and service approval. This means we are not an approved education and care service. Crèche services provide short term care for children while their parents participate in an activity, meeting or other event at the same location.

As the parent, you maintain responsibility for your child. This means that you must:

  • Remain within the studio at all times and be able to attend to your child’s needs if required.
  • Immediately return to the crèche to attend to your child if requested to do so by Stone’s Throw Yoga staff.
  • Directly supervise your children before and after crèche attendance times.
  • If your child is upset, needs feeding, needs to go to the toilet or have their nappy changed and crèche staff are unable to attend to those needs in a timely manner, you will be asked to return to the crèche.

Other creche conditions

  • Children must not attend the crèche when they are sick.
  • Children will be returned to parents immediately if they become sick during their attendance at the crèche.
  • Medication cannot be administered to your child by crèche staff.
  • Bookings are final and refunds are not offered for change of mind, injury, illness, or change of address. If you can no longer attend an event, please still notify us so that we are not expecting you on the day.
  • If you can no longer attend, you can transfer your booking to another person of your choice. They will need to create an account in our booking system.
  • Please email cancellations or transfer requests to [email protected].
  • The door is locked at the event start time to protect everyone’s belongings. If you arrive after the door has been locked this will be considered a no-show and the event will not be refunded or credited to your account. We recommend aiming to arrive 5-10 minutes early to avoid disappointment.

Inappropriate behaviour includes but is not limited to repeated no-shows, failed/overdue payments, harassment of staff or other students, damage or theft of studio property, and discriminatory or derogatory behaviour.

As the amount of these memberships we can offer is limited, we ask that if your financial situation changes and you are able to move to a membership or class pass pack at the standard or concession rates, that you advise us so that someone else in need can benefit from the scholarship.

It’s important to us that the scholarship is used. If you don’t attend a class for four weeks (without freezing your membership) and there is a waitlist for the scholarship, we will pass your place on to someone else.

Stone’s Throw Yoga is not liable to refund, transfer or offer compensation of any kind for classes you are unable to attend for any reason including if your preferred class is full.

Stone’s Throw Yoga reserves the right to terminate your membership or revoke access to the studio at any time as a result of behaviour that we deem inappropriate. Inappropriate behaviour includes but is not limited to repeated late cancellations/no-shows, harassment of staff or other students, damage or theft of studio property, and discriminatory or derogatory behaviour.

Bookings are final and refunds are not offered for change of mind, injury, illness, or change of address. If you can no longer attend an event, please cancel so another person can take your place.

Alternatively, we can transfer your booking to another person of your choice. They will need to create an account in our booking system. Please email transfer requests to [email protected].

The door is locked at the event start time to protect everyone’s belongings. If you arrive after the door has been locked this will be considered a no-show and the event will not be refunded or credited to your account. We recommend aiming to arrive 10 minutes early to avoid disappointment.
