Join Mel and JB for our ‘Elevate, Create, and Rejuvenate’ retreat amidst the stunning natural beauty of Margaret River.
The schedule blends mindful yoga, meditation, delicious food, therapeutic artwork and outdoor adventures. With plenty of free time to relax, and all activities being optional, you can do exactly as much, or as little, as you need.
The retreat is all-inclusive and perfect for those who care for others. No need to think about meals, appointments or commitments. No obligation to do anything at all except exactly what your heart desires. Let us look after you, so you can fill your cup and be better able to care for others when you return home.
It’s the perfect long weekend getaway to recharge, take a deep breath, and find peace.
Your days begin by moving through an invigorating movement-based practice. Build strength and vitality in your body and mind while practising stamina and focus.
As always, there will be options to increase or decrease the level of challenge. We’ll help you feel comfortable and capable, no matter where you are in your yoga journey.
In the evenings, unwind with gentler practices as the sun begins to set. Sink into deep stretches and constructive rest, melting away tension. Explore chanting and mantra, guided meditations and more. You’ll feel rejuvenated and ready for a restful sleep.
Meditation is an integral part of our retreat experience. We’ll help you build comfort, ease and routine in your practice. Developing this habit at the retreat means you’re more likely to continue meditating at home, which has lifelong benefits.
Please bring your own yoga mat and two yoga blocks to the retreat.
Anyone that knows us understands that great food is a central focus in our lives! Be prepared to indulge in next-level plant-based food experiences on this magical getaway.
Our caterer, Jess, will be cooking with love on-site in the homestead. She’ll serve wholesome breakfasts, lunches and dinners to leave you feeling nourished and satisfied.
Why plant-based? We’ll be practising the yogic principle of Ahimsa (non-violence) as we clarify body and mind over the long weekend.
Simple dietary requirements (non-coeliac gluten free, onion/garlic free, etc) can easily be catered for. If you have more complicated requirements, please get in touch before booking to discuss.
Join Hills artist Em Vitetta (EV Textile Art) for a workshop on combining embroidery and ink. Explore this fusion of techniques and create your own unique artwork!
First, use simple tracing to transfer a pattern onto fabric. You can either bring a printed line drawing of your own, or choose from the options Em provides.
Next, Em will show you how to use watercolour ink and basic embroidery stitches to bring your artwork to life.
The unique combination of watercolour and embroidery creates beauty, depth and dimension.
Beginners – fear not! Em has designed this workshop to be accessible and approachable. You only need a willingness to explore your creative instincts and embrace the joy of experimentation.
We’ll provide all supplies. You’ll go home with your gorgeous piece and the knowledge to keep creating from the heart.
We’ve scheduled a group hike, where we’ll explore the breathtaking natural beauty of the area together. Time in nature feeds the soul. Getting amongst the green with a group of like-minded people is the perfect way to connect with yourself and others.
Our hike will last around 2-3 hours and will be of moderate difficulty.
Each day has plenty of free time – tailor this holiday to be exactly what you need!
Explore all that Margaret River has to offer, read a book in the stunning gardens or simply take a luxurious nap. Our intention is for you to have plenty of time to explore, rest and unwind every single day.

Hi! We’re Mel and JB, the husband and wife duo who created Stone’s Throw Yoga. We had a vision of a space for people to escape their busy lives and experience the benefits of mindfulness, movement and community, which we’ve embodied in our studio and community.
Yoga and meditation has had a profound impact on our lives, and we’re passionate about sharing that same gift with as many people as possible – especially those who think that yoga isn’t for them!
Our teaching is guided by both ancient yogic traditions and modern movement science. This creates unique experiences that profoundly benefit the body, mind, and spirit. We cultivate spaces that encourage exploration, playfulness and joy. Best of all – we don’t take ourselves too seriously. You can expect to have a giggle in most classes.
We’re firm believers in making the poses fit your body, rather than making your body fit the poses. You’ll feel comfortable and empowered to both challenge yourself and rest when you need to.
Mindfulness and meditation are key aspects of our teaching style, and are woven into all aspects of the practice.
